Getting Started

The very first thing to do to get started with Zoom @ Volstate is to create a Zoom account. 

The following steps will get you started with Zoom.

  1. Visit the url and click the "Create or Edit Account" link. Use your Volstate username/password and you will have a basic account created.
  2. For faculty, do you need a Zoom pro account? Faculty and Staff can request a Zoom Pro account through the IT Direct Help Desk that allows for more advanced features.

A reminder:

Zoom basic accounts may host meetings of up to 40 minutes long and have up to 25 participants.

Zoom pro accounts may host meeting of unlimited duration and have up to 100 participants.
