Large Language Models (LLMs) are a specific type of generative AI. LLMs are sophisticated AI systems designed to understand and generate human-like text across multiple languages, with applications ranging from natural language processing to translation and content generation.

AI can be very helpful in academics but remember that ultimately you are responsible for every choice you make and everything you write.

When using GenAI tools, it is important to recognize that your data might not be private. External parties hosting these tools might have access to the information you share. Avoid inputting sensitive information, such as credit card numbers, ID numbers, or personal addresses.

Ethical Use of AI

• Academic Integrity: Engage with your professors to understand how GenAI tools can be used in your courses, including proper citation practices and any guidelines for their ethical use.
