Are you an online student? Are you a student, faculty, or staff member at Cookeville, Livingston, or Springfield? The Thigpen Library in Gallatin, on the main campus, can send requested library materials directly to you.

To request library materials from the Gallatin campus, complete the form shown below. This service is available to all students enrolled in Vol State classes at the sites (Cookeville, Livingston, or Springfield) or students that are online only. Faculty and staff may also use this service. Books, DVDs, and other physical materials may be requested from the Thigpen Library collections at the Gallatin campus. Or, you may request materials through Interlibrary Loan (ILL) from other libraries.

Usage Policy

Books from the Thigpen Library will be sent only to students and faculty who have off-campus or online courses. Also, the borrower must live more than 30 miles from the Gallatin campus and not attend classes on the campus. Items will be checked out to the borrower on their library account. Borrowers are responsible for returning books by date due and in undamaged condition. The borrower is responsible for late, damage, or lost fees.
