Online Math Assistance

Live tutoring is available from the Vol State Learning Commons via Zoom during our open hours. No appointment is necessary for math & science tutoring.

You may use Zoom on your computer or other smart devices. Please have your instructor's name and course number available when you enter.

All Vol State students have free access to the online tutoring service Tutor.com.

Tutor.com is available 24 hours a day and seven days a week. The tutoring service covers Math, Business, English, Writing, Science, Health Sciences, Computers, and Foreign Language.

The link to Tutor.com is in eLearn. You can click "Academic Support" then Tutor.com to get there, or look for this under the class announcements.

  • Monday – Thursday: 7:45am - 8:00pm (Testing begins at 8:30am)
  • Friday: 7:45am - 4:30pm (Testing begins at 8:30am)
  • Saturday and Sunday: Closed
Exceptions

March 4th through March 8th

  • Open 8:00am to 4:30pm (reduced hours for Spring Break)

  • Closed for Good Friday
