1. Review your syllabus /eLearn courses to identify links/URLS to library resources.
2. Don't forget to check the URLs of any embedded materials you have (videos, articles, etc). 
3. Update any links you identify to OpenAthens using the Link Generator Tool.
4. AFTER OpenAthens launches during Fall Break, replace the links in your syllabus and/or course shells. 
5. Contact library staff with any questions.

Update Existing Links for electronic resources that are in your e-Learn courses and/or syllabus

• Locate the link
• Remove the EZproxy information (https://libproxy.volstate.edu/login?url=)
• Copy the remaining link address
• Paste the link into our OpenAthens Link Generator 
• Copy the new "Athenized" link
• Paste the link into your e-Learn course and/or syllabus

Create New Links  for electronic resources that you want to add in your e-Learn course and/or syllabus

• Go to the resource
• Copy the permalink address for each resource
• Paste the link into our OpenAthens Link Generator 
• Copy the new "Athenized" link
• Paste the link into your e-Learn course and/or syllabus
