Watching Kanopy videos

Any current Vol State student, faculty, or staff can watch our licensed Kanopy videos from either on-campus and off-campus.

You are NOT required to have a Kanopy account to watch the videos licensed by Thigpen Library. You do need to login to the library's account to access videos. This is the standard login procedure used all library subscription resources.

You may see a "Create Your Account " page after clicking our database link. This page urges you to create a Kanopy account, but you are not required to have a Kanopy account to watch the Kanopy videos in the library's subscription. If you want an account be sure to read the terms and privacy policy very carefully.

To watch a video without creating an account, click the "skip" button – you may need to scroll to find the button.
