The Database Help guide provides self-help resources. The purpose is to help users access and use the online subscription resources provided by Thigpen Library. This guide is not a comprehensive how-to resource; it simply answers common questions and provides solutions to common problems. The databases themselves offer lots of tips on how to effectively use the resource. Look for the help button / link when using a database.
Login issues explains login procedures and provides solutions to common login issues. Accessibility identifies a few special features available in our resources to improve the user experience. Tips for a few databases has a series of sub-pages on particular databases that answer common questions, give basic citation information, highlight special features, and discuss permalinks. Pioneer Search tells you about the one search option and library catalog.
Are you using a streaming video database? Take a look at our Videos guide for information on and help with these databases. The guide also has links to free web-based video collections and information on DVDs in the library.
Are you a TN eCampus student? Some information on this guide is relevant to you, but our TN eCampus guide has additional information and resources.
